Do you have enough of it to become a successful entrepreneur?

There has been a lot of buzz created around about startups today. A lot many people have started their own startups and are quite successful in achieving what they had dreamt of. We often hear that he has become a successful entrepreneur, she has become a successful entrepreneur and ‘YOU’ …??? What about you? Don’t you have that qualities that you can start your own business? Just think about it and imagine like today you been given others examples, tomorrow others will take your name to inspire and motivate others. Isn’t it sounds so self-motivating? It is, right!

Now, here the question arises what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. Many of you believe that you don’t have the qualities to become an entrepreneur and then you stop there itself. But, you should think like what you don’t have, you can develop that within yourself. There are things that are not really difficult to acquire. All you need is your determination and that very thing which makes you believe in yourself. And then you will be done.

Well, these are the things that you should have within yourself. There are two basic things that are required to be a successful entrepreneur. First one being the ‘Out of the box thinking’ and the second one is the ‘Guts’ to show the world what you think and what you can do. If you don’t have guts to make your dream come true you will not be able to turn your out of the box thinking into reality. Apart from these two, there are n number of things that you should pay heed to and work accordingly to start your own startup.

Let’s understand some number games based on the success and failure of startups. We, often have heard that 99% startups fail in the initial year itself. So, what could be the reason behind their failure. What we think as the probable reasons could be the lack of proper planning and execution, lack of funds, lack of availability of resources and the list goes on. But, no! It is not the lack of planning and execution, there are plenty of venture capitalists ready to invest in your ideas and there are availability of resources too.

  • 42% of startups identified “lack of a market need for their product” as the single biggest reason for their failure. So, here what will bring success to your startup? May be your ‘out of the box thinking’ would help you out here.

  • 20% of founders who have failed on their first startup, succeed on their second. How did this happen? May be they had that much “Guts” to stand again and join the race of becoming successful entrepreneur.

  • 80% of successful startups have multiple founders. Because each one of us has some uniqueness in ourselves. And we know that two are better than one but also remember that too many cooks spoil the broth.

A small tip to budding entrepreneurs and to the ones who are thinking to become entrepreneur is that “at first they will ask why you’re doing it, later they will ask how you did it.” So, have self confidence and self motivation because in this world full of competition people will not motivate you, instead they will try to pull you back. At last, have guts to prepare yourself to answer the question ‘….. how you did it?’ And believe that your guts will definitely provide you with the answer to this.

Planning to Become an Entrepreneur?

You know there is nothing like perfect time to start anything. If you have thought of doing something, then this is the right time to do it or tomorrow will never come. Make your mind start thinking out-of-the-box and accumulate all your guts, put them together and here you can come out with the perfect recipe of becoming a successful entrepreneur.

“If your startup lasts, you’re lucky enough. You’ve been able to do something that 99% of startups haven’t. If you’ve got these two characteristics, then you’re setting yourself up for major success.”
