Mysteries of space have always fascinated human beings. Humans always have the curiosity to discover new things, finding the reasons behind the myths and legends, pushing themselves to a new level to know the mystery behind outer space.

These types of things always kept engaging them and motivate them to learn something new.
Space exploration is one such thing. It has always amazed not only the scientists but also ordinary people to know more about the outer world. Time to time various rumors have always been spread regarding it like the existence of aliens. One of the famous rumors that everyone loves to talk about. Sometimes people's curiosity and desires led to such type of rumors. Although no particular evidence has found until now, still people never get tired of talking about aliens like they communicate to earth through radio signals, they are much more intelligent, powerful and advanced than us.

Although scientist has found radio signals from space, still no such evidence is found that proves that aliens have sent the radio signals.

Another important reason to explore space is to find about the circumstances and challenges that can be faced by the astronauts that will do long space flights. Till now students have visited till moon only, and NASA and ISRO are preparing to send astronauts to Mars. They're also finding water and other necessities on the planets that are required for human existence. studying asteroids is the one way to provide information regarding planets, and it can help scientists to land human beings on Mars.

Scientists are researching the history of space- how did the solar system form and where did the Earth's water and other organic materials such as carbon come from? This all answers can be only answered only through the study of earth's material in space i.e., asteroids. Asteroids have always fascinated scientists. Through research, it has been found that asteroids are formed early in our solar system's history–about 4.5 billion years ago. To study more about more asteroids scientist are sending robotic missions to learn more about asteroid orbits, surface composition, and even return samples to Earth for further evaluation.

Till now 3,657 Earth-size planets have been discovered that lies outside the solar system. Seven thousand galaxies consisting of billions of stars are still under study. Around 51 galaxies that are near to the milky way has been confirmed and still, the list is never-ending.

It is estimated that there are around two trillion galaxies exists in the universe with 25,000 crores milky way and stars. The universe is so vast. It is estimated that the Earth and the edge of the observable universe are 46 billion light-years with a total diameter of about 93 billion light-years.

It seems that we have not done looking at even half of the universe. So, much is still left to know and discover. Space is such an amazing topic that it seems what we have known until now is still not enough. The journey of exploring space from setting the foot on the earth is still going on. Who knows what amazing thing we will find out in the future about space.
