G O T- The Long Night

After the successful first two episodes, HBO has officially released the third episode of Game of Thrones on 28 April 2019. Unlike the last two episodes, the third episode is also got hit. The episode was viewed by 17.8 million people through different platforms.

The long night is one of the longest episode of the series with a duration of 82 minutes. The long night has taken place entirely at Winterfell. It depicts the battle between the Army of the Dead and the combined armies of the living. Game of Thrones episode 3 is written by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, and directed by Miguel Sapochnik.

The previous episode 2 of the game of thrones is “A knight of seven kingdoms”. A lot of people has made a guest appearance in episode 3. The long night has marked the final appearances of Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Carice van Houten (Melisandre), Richard Dormer (Beric Dondarrion), Vladimir Furdik (The Night King), Ben Crompton (Eddison Tollett), Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont) and Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont).

What critics say about The Long Night

Different critics have different views about the long night. Reviewers praised the Arya Stark storyline, scale of the battle and the visual grandeur.

However, some criticized the conclusion ofWhite Walker storyline and the resolution of the battle. In all, reviewers gave 8.97/10 scores. Which is the highest score of season 8? In the episode Area's unexpected defeat of the night, the king was praised. Some fell that it is the weakest episode of the season.

While watching the episode of the long night. You all must be wondering what happened to Bran Stark? Why was he acting so weird? And many such questions must be popping up in your mind.

Seeing Bran acting like this some say that he is the Night King that was killing Bran to destroy himself.Some also said that Bran is stuck inside his body. His body is being controlled by the Night King.

Some also said that the transition of Bran into Night King occur when the Children of the Forest pierce the man’s heart with dragonglass.

However The Night King has been dead, and therefore Bran would not want to travel back to prevent something that is eventually prevented. Even though some still believe that there’s a chance Bran could still be the Night King.

Now only three episodes are left in the Game of Thrones season 8. And still, there is a lot to do before wrapping up the game of thrones series. The battle of Winterfell has now ended. Many people have great expectations from it that some unexpected will happen. But anything such does not happen at all. Many of us were thinking that many people will die in the battle of Winterfell. But still, they are alive!

By Killing the Night King Arya had became” the Prince That Was Promised”. But we still do not know the exact details yet. Hopefully, it all will be discovered in the upcoming episodes of game of thrones.
