How To Make Indian Style Pasta

Pasta is an Italian cuisine and a part of European cuisine. In mid 2000’s India also started to consume pasta. Indians love for pasta increased day by day. Before 2000’s also there were places where you would get pasta like Kwality chain outlets in Mumbai and Kolkata,Gaylords in Kolkata. By course of time Pasta became an accepted as well as people’s favourite dish. After 2000’s Pasta dishes were available in five-star hotels in Bangalore,Jaipur,Ahmedabad,Mumbai and Delhi. The love for this International food has increased as time passed by.

For Vegetarians

Ingredients:-

  • Oil

  • Ginger- 1tbsp grated

  • Garlic-1 tbsp grated

  • Coriander powder-1 tbsp

  • Pepper powder-1 tbsp

  • Chilli flakes-1tbsp

  • Garam Masala-2 tbsp

  • Salt-½ tbsp

  • Sugar-A pinch

  • Soy Sauce-1tbsp

  • Chilli Sauce-1tbsp

  • Large onion-1 cup chopped

  • Carrot-½ piece chopped

  • Cabbage-as per your wish

  • Capsicum-½ chopped

  • Macaroni-3 cups

Total Time Required:30minutes.

Instructions:-

  • Before boiling,soak the macaroni for 5 minutes.

  • Boil the macaroni in water.While doing this put 2 drops of oil so that macaroni doesn't get into a sticky form.

  • After this procedure drain and keep it aside. While draining,pour some cool water,so that pasta won't be sticky when kept aside.

  • Heat oil in a pan and put chopped or crushed/grated ginger and garlic.

  • Put coriander powder,chilli flakes,salt,garam masala and pepper.

  • Saute them until the raw smell is gone.

  • Then add onion and saute them until it turns into a translucent form.

  • Add carrot,cabbage,capsicum and saute for a minute.

  • Close the lid of the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes. Do this on a low flame.

  • Mix the sauces along with sugar and drop half of this solution at this point.

  • Put macaroni into this semi gravy mixture. Saute it.

  • Put the balance sauce.

  • Let it cook for 5 min.

  • Serve Immediately.

For Non-Vegetarians

Ingredients:-

  • Oil

  • Ginger- 1tbsp

  • Garlic-1 tbsp

  • Coriander powder-1 tbsp

  • Pepper powder-1 tbsp

  • Chilli flakes-1tbsp

  • Garam Masala-2 tbsp

  • Salt-½ tbsp

  • Sugar-A pinch

  • Soy Sauce-1tbsp

  • Chilli Sauce-1tbsp

  • Large onion-1 cup

  • Carrot-½ piece

  • Cabbage-as per your wish

  • Capsicum-½

  • Eggs-2

  • Chicken minced -350grams

  • Macaroni-3 cups

Total time Required:40minutes

Instructions:-

  • Before boiling the macaroni,soak it in cold water for 5 minutes

  • Boil the macaroni in water. While doing this put 2 drops of oil so that macaroni doesn't get into a sticky form.

  • After this procedure drain and keep it aside. While draining pour some cold water so that it doesn't stick when kept aside.

  • Heat oil in a pan and put chopped or crushed/grated ginger and garlic.

  • Put coriander powder,chilli flakes,salt,garam masala and pepper.

  • Saute them until the raw smell is gone.

  • Then add onion and saute them until it turns into a translucent form.

  • Add carrot,cabbage,capsicum and saute for a minute.

  • Close the lid of the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes. Do this on a low flame.

  • Keep this gravy in a corner of the pan.

  • Break the eggs and make it into a scrambled form.

  • Grind the cooked chicken and add it into this dry mixture.

  • Mix the sauces along with a pinch of sugar and drop half of this solution at this point.

  • Put macaroni into this semi gravy mixture.

  • Put the balance sauce.

  • Let it cook for 5 min.

  • Serve Immediately.
