Movies are everyone's first choice to spend time. Be it with friends or family or special someone or anyone. Different movies have different impact on different generations watching those movies. Movies featuring teenagers as their lead capture many people's attention. The teenagers portrayed in movies are way different from what it's really like to be a teenager in this world. Teenage life in movies includes too much drama but in real life it's not so interesting sometimes it can be really boring. It's not necessary that in real life everyone gets a happy ending and get to meet their soulmate or one true love in high school only. In real life teenagers never get the opportunity to catch the culprit and solve criminal cases. Neither do they always get the chance to have a life changing incident in their lives. Being a teenager is not easy in today's life as one may conclude. The only thing mattering in their lives is not the fact that they don't have good clothes or their crush doesn't like them because s/he is one of the popular students of the school and they're the one who no-one notices. They have matters to concern about like what they're going to do in their future or if they performed nice on their test. There are issues related to the opposite sex but their whole life doesn't revolve around that. And the most cringing thing about movies is that the movie-teenagers never do their homework and have lots and lots of time to do a part time job or talk to their friends between classes in the hall. The reality is opposite, sometimes due to homework they don't have enough time to do something else. Also what's with the thing that if you wear glasses you are ugly but once you loose them you look good. And no-one wears so much makeup and the high heels to school. Those short skirts with thigh high boots go against the school dress code. It's not necessary that the guy always gets the girl or vice versa. The movies always have same way of going :

  1. First, the girl/guy isn't noticed by anyone.

  2. Then due to some reason they become the star of the school.

  3. But then they start to act like the bad person or do something wrong and are brought on the right track by someone.

  4. Then they become their old good self and everything becomes right with the big kiss at the end.

They might change something but in one way or other it's all the same. The cheerleaders are always evil and the loner kid is actually really beautiful. They lead is always capable of changing someone from inside with words and actions without even knowing about it. And the crush always realises that the lead is the one for them. But in reality your crush liking you back rarely happens. The lead is always really smart and has some hidden talent which they're really really good at. In reality neither we get to have so much romance nor action. In real life teenagers are no Sherlock Holmes solving cases and catching the criminal. The most suspense we can have is catching the person who stole some stationery, not more than that. We all believe that vampires don't exist (some may believe) so meeting a hot vampire in the school who changes our life (best example is Twilight or the Vampire diaries) is so not an option though many of us want that to happen. Those shows and movies about teenage life are flawed. It shows the life that teenagers dream about. Though it's all a lie but they're fun to watch. Watching those movies is like living in a fantasy where everything becomes right in the end though in real life it may not for some people.
