I'm sure everyone is sick and tired of hearing how Bollywood movies have been duplicated or inspired by Hollywood movies. But didyou know that thishappens the other way around as well? 1. A Common Man (2013)– A Wednesday (2008)

Chandran Rutnam had to cast Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley to pull off Naseeruddin Shah's character fromA Wednesday.Yes,A Common Manis not just inspired but is an official remake of the masterpiece A Wednesday. Hence In the words of Naseeruddin shah – “I am just a Stupid Common Man wanting to clean his house”. This movie was officially known to be a remake.

2.KillBill (2003)- Abhay (2001)

Though the plot differs,this famous thriller Kill Bill by Quentin Tarentino had actionsequenceswhich he himself told Anurag Kashyap (the director of Abhay) were inspired by the Kamal Hassan-starrerAbhay. Many of us might have seen Kill Bill but not the latter. Can you imagine such a high intensity movie being copied from Bollywood?

3. Pearl Harbor (2001) - Sangam (1964)

Now this might be shocking but it is true and as is belived.Pearl Harbor was less about Pearl Harbor but more about a romantic love triangle between two best friends and a girl. Plots for both movies are fairly similar and the only difference between the two movies was thatSangamhad only one friend as a pilot whereas its Hollywood counterpart had both.
