1) Khamand
Khamand is most common and significant food in Gujrat itself. It's made from soaked and freshly ground channa dal. It's brisk is so soft and spongy yellow in color varnished with the mustard seeds and oil. It's juicy and tangier in taste. Usually served with fried chillies and chopped onion.

2) Jalebi and Faafda
Jalebi and faafda is most preferred Sunday morning breakfast for most of the Gujratis. In Ahmadabad day start with Faafda and ends with Paan. For outsiders this might be weird combination as Jalebi is sweet and juicy in nature while Faafda is salty and crispy snack but when these two comes together believe me there's nothing better than this.

3) Maska bun and tea

Nothing can substitute the surge of tea in ahmedavadis. The tea is most cherish beverage over here and it's unquie in its own way. Along with tea Muska bun is also served which will make your day. The moment someone gives out this name, we end up imagining luscious curd, chutney, mashed potato, chatpati puris and whole lot of yummy goodness with the masalas. 7) Gwalior Dosa

8) Thali

A typical Gujaratithali consist of many small bowls filled with curries, snacks, sides, sweets, bread, chutney (spicy condiment) and pickles. Distinctive things about Thali is that it allows you the savour the delicate balances of flavour-sweet, salty, spicy, crisp, soft, fried and deep fried. Bread include the Rotlis (baked bread) made from Bajra (millets) and the Thepla (griddled bread made of chickpea). Khichdi (a mixture of rice and five kinds of lentils), Kadhi (preparation of sweet and spicy curd mixture thickened with gram flour), Masala Bhat (spiced rice) and Vangi Bhat (rice with aubergines and coriander).Sweet delicacies include seasonal Aamras (mango fool) and Dhoodh Paak made with thick sweetened milk, dried gruits and nuts. Bhuna gosht or mutton bhuna is a traditional Indian mutton recipe usually made with goat mutton and blend with different spices which add in the richness of the curry. Bhuna Gosht is 2nd most domain after Paratha. This can be eaten along with flatbread such as Naan or Wheat Paratha.
