You're single because you're single. Its not because you texted too much or texted too little or waited 30 minutes to text back beacuse he took 15. It's not because you met your ex at 9pm that no one knows about. You are not single because you spilled the food on the date or tripped down outside the movie theatre. You are not single because you think the guy your friends want you to hookup is ugly or not tall enough. You are not single because your standards are too high. Good for you for having standards. Its not because you didn't go to the date with that really, really good guy and you just weren't feeling it. And it's not because you wear pyjamas and wash off all the makeup the minute you get home. You're not single because you didn't learn enough from the past or would rather chill on a friday night. You're single because you're single. It's really as simple as that. It's because you haven't made that connection with another heart yet. You can dress up, cut your hair, dye your hair, put on lipstick and maybe still, be single. You can go out to find the love of your life but still can't find anyone damn person attractive. And it's going to remain that way until it's time for you to find that one. Stop hoping for it. Start living the life that you do have instead of wishing for things that you don't have. There will be a time when you will meet him and you will have to give up some of this single freedom you currently have. Start being more thankful. Start doing it now.
