The colour black is mostly associated with all things dark and negative. It symbolises fear, death, evil and much more. But have you ever wondered if it is really the colour or is it us?? Are we not using it as a cover to hide our darkness and insecurities.

Have you ever felt the need to be all alone in the dark?? I am sure you have? We all have. Anxiety and depression is a part of everyone's life. In this fast-paced world, we all are suffering from FOMO and we all just want to fit in.

Do you ever feel the pressure of feeling important and loved?? In this era of Instagram and Facebook, we all want to look glam and fab like our models. But have you ever asked yourself why is it so important?? Why do you want to change everything that God has given you just to please someone else you have never met or you probably never will??

Many of us even feel the pressure of a conventional job, a steady relationship and everything what others feel is important. Why can't we just be ourselves?? Why is it not enough that we love ourselves?? Do we even love ourselves?? Why is it so important to fit in??

The teenagers today are the group which feels much more intimidated and vulnerable. They feel that always being in the limelight is the only thing that gives meaning to their lives. They surrender their blood, sweat and tears just to fit in. In adults, we feel finance and relationships choking us to death. But have you ever wondered what happens if you just stop caring??

Depression is a big thing to deal with, I know that. Even our celebs feel the same. You are not alone. But it is not difficult to come out of it if you really put efforts. Just some few words every day to yourself is going to solve this. " I don't care". "I am worth it". "I am beautiful". Talk to yourself, love yourself and you will feel you are out of this in no time.

Only you can make yourself happy. Once you do this you will not feel the need of hiding in the dark. You will feel your pain turn pink. You will be able to wear black with confidence. And then black will symbolise power, sophistication, elegance, authority, rebellion and much more. You will find that black has become a happy colour.
