1.THE RED FORT

This giant, magnificent fort is made of red bricks. 2.QUTUB MINAR

72.5 meters long minar in Delhi is the symbol of victory of Islam over the last Hindu kingdom in the 12thcentury.It is said that if one encircles the pillar with both hands (embrace the pillar), his wishes are fulfilled. Other significant features are inner and outer courtyard, mosque, graves, tombs, madrasa etc. Though the tourists are not allowed to climb the tower to maintain the decorum of the monument.

3.LOTUS TEMPLE

TheLotus Temple, situated on the east of Nehru Place,is a house of worship for the monotheistic Bahá'í Faith. It is named so because it is shaped like the Lotus flower. The architecture and interior of this sacred site fully constructed with white marble is quite remarkable and centre of attraction for most of the tourists.

4.AGRASEN KI BAOLI

This historical monument situated is on the Halley Road in New Delhi. A mosaic of different stones and rocks, it is an ancient water reservoir rising from the depths of the earth to stand atop103 stone steps. Hidden amidst the business towers and residential apartments of central Delhi, this place is a quiet and serene experience perfect for photography lovers.

5.ADVENTURE ISLAND

6.CHANDNI CHOWK

Famously known as Purani Dilli,Chandni Chawk is the perfect place to shop in. 7.INDIA GATE

At the centre of New Delhi stands the 42 m highIndia Gate. It commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during the World War I. The memorial bears the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers killed in the Northwestern Frontier in the Afghan war of 1919.

Surrounding the imposing structure is a large expanse of lush green lawns, which is a popular picnic spot. One can see hoards of people moving about the brightly lit area and on the lawns on summer evenings.

8.SAROJINI NAGAR

This market is very popular among the Delhi citizens because of having great bargaining here in every product. The shops in the market are drop at the sides of the road and shopkeeper offered the customers everything such as home furnishing, fashionable clothing, bags, cosmetics, belts, sweaters, footwear, and other accessories. The market, situated at the posh area of the South Delhi, is a favorite place for the students, tourists and college goings due to great bargaining at this place.
