Every five years the country prepares itself for the greatest theatre play in the history of the country. Leaders, sometimes not so real leaders if we are being honest here, go around campaigning and proclaiming their capabilities and how efficient they are in the work they do. They stand up with a mic in hand on a raised platform almost always to show you that they already are far greater than you and they can rule you if they want. You all are just mere puppets in these ‘efficiently worked out’ theatrical plays.

Yes I’m talking about The General Elections of India, 2019. For our dear readers who find themselves to be totally cut-off from the world of politics and elections and political leaders, the General Elections of India take place every five years. India being a democratic country, the people of India give their vote and elect a leader for their individual legislations whom they have chosen to represent them in the parliament. Now political parties are formed, by individuals rarely and groups of people of a similar thought process and mind-set generally, and these political parties stand in the elections and campaign about what all they could do towards the growth and development of this nation to cater to the needs of present-day India.

But in the hustle and bustle, the theatrics and drama, we unfortunately come across something that has and most probably will continue to exist. With four to five major religions and some more minor religions and an even more number of subsections to each of these religions, it is almost next to impossible to cater to the needs of all the over 1.4 billion population that this country nurtures. As the saying goes, as many minds, so many views. A hundred thousand people have a hundred thousand perspectives towards what they wish to see new or modified in the current system. This is when violence shoots out its branches in the growing tree of this country.

Try taking a closer look at the number of major sects, minor sects, sub minor sects, and all the various permutations and combinations each of them have. With no hard feelings or preference and with utter due respect to all our dear Indian brothers and sisters, please, grow up. Stop differentiating amongst your own brethren. Stop discriminating between two human beings born and brought up in the same land that provides equally for all. The rivers and wells do not know the definition of Untouchable that you so dearly cling to. The religious texts and books do not sat that God shall only look after the child born to this person and this place in this house in this country.

The British raj left the country decades ago, but apparently has somehow managed to leave behind its lesson of Divide and Rule to be carried forward.

no offence guys!🙈🙉🙊
