A Better World

If the world would have been a better place to live in, where the atmosphere of love would have surrounded the Earth. The amount of hatred should not have been rising, as the rise in CO₂. The hole of doubt should not let misunderstandings creep in, destroying beautiful relationships.

How it would have been if we do not have shackles on our feet, restricting us in every step? A world where we all have the wings to fly along with true freedom of religion and speech. The air of that place is not polluted with ill-feelings, one sees through other’s struggles and pain, and spread kindness. Smiles are distributed, free of cost and people knows the difference between self-centred and selfish. Physical features and physique do not compete with our inner goodness and we are not judged based on such attributes. The place where people do good not to get good but to be good, their acts are without expectations and hearts are filled with innocence, sympathy and goodwill. They light up the way for others and radiate laughter and joy.

People are busy not only on the cellular level but are also filled with enthusiasm externally to bring about the change, they want to see in the world. The people of this land do little things in little ways to change the face of the Earth. A world not with the best of people but with better people who could make a better world, not by criticising others but by improving oneself; not by being the spectator but by being the participant.

What about a world where divisions do not exist, no other boundaries except the physical barriers divide us? A world where race – Human, politics – Freedom, religion – Love, motto – Loyalty, duty – Respect; void of poverty, injustice and gross inequality. A world so full of magnificent transformations and with increased empathy, understanding and wisdom. Besides having responsive and responsible governments, it has unbiased news media. Maintaining peace is prioritize over maintaining security and investment in education is higher than that on arms. A world which is not packed with billionaires but with those who can fulfil billion people hopes and dreams.

The most important fact is, ‘a better world is made with better people who strive in the best of the way to make all the better changes.’

Only if the world would have been so,
But ‘this’ world can never be so!
