Recently you must have come across the news that..
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to include artificial intelligence (AI) as an optional subject for students of classes 8, 9 and 10 at its schools.

Though the subject would be introduced as an optional 'skill' subject. Most of the teachers are of the view that this is a positive move and totally agree that AI should be embedded in the curriculum and that should go a long way in better equipping school students with the latest technological advances.

This decision was made under the advisory committee of the NITI Aayog. Even the NITI Aayog discussions approve of the fact that AI must be a part of their core curriculums to ensure that students are prepared for the upcoming new age of employment that is approaching.

Recent technological advancements and the increasing speed of adopting new technologies in higher education are explored in order to predict the future nature of higher education in a world where artificial intelligence plays a crucial part. Artificial intelligence is currently progressing at an accelerated pace and this will have its consequences in the near future , predicting the amazing (and sometimes catastrophic) changes that will arise with its advent. So far, AI hasn’t made any such crazy waves, but will be a part of routine life.

AI offers a wide range of pros
The students will be able to learn AI at the grass root level and can compete at a World wide level, where students Now aren't able to perform at the platforms like Workshops.

The students will know AI much better than the NOW unaware population.

….And some Cons

These programs can teach students fundamentals, but so far aren't capable of making the students Creative or develop Higher Order thinking.

Everything is fine, But emphasis must be put to bring the teachers up to pace with the technology so that they can impart the knowledge better. They need to be trained well before the students are made acquainted to this new era.

The result?
Education could look a whole lot different a few decades from now.
Such a bold move, with added proper implementation and cooperation from teachers , is hoped to bring positive reform to the maximum section in the country.
