Physical activity or exercise is so much important for the present generation than it was for the previous generations. This might sound prejudiced but it is true. The present generation is so much developed that most of the things get done, without even moving. Due to this development, children don’t bother getting up from their places and sit glued to their electronic devices. Playing online games is so much more fun to them than playing games outside. Urban development is also a factor for this, since many areas are closely constructed with no parks or spaces to play.Also due to the hectic lifestyle of adults, they barely have time for any exercise, since most of their time is spent in the office.

Our parents or the previous generations were always outside the house playing or running around the neighbourhood. So, this was enough to keep them physically fit. This is what the present generation lacks.

Every day it is important to spare at least 30 minutes for any physical activity. This is especially for students who spend most of their studying either at home or school, and adults, who continuously work for long hours.

Physical activity makes your body stronger and hence you have better immunity and strength to do your work better. Select any type of physical activity you are interested in. You can easily avoid any health problems, which are becoming more prominent today, by sparing 30 minutes every day. You can control your body weight just by exercising, instead of resorting to dieting. Many people resort to wrong dieting practises with an aim of losing weight, which in turn has a negative impact on their health in the long run. You become active by exercising and therefore are energetic all the time. You perform better when you are energetic and thus feel good about yourself.

In a healthy body lies a healthy mind. By exercising, you can get rid all the negative thoughts and your worries. It reduces stress levels. It gives you a peace of mind, and increases your output. You perform better in such condition, and it boosts your confidence. Being energetic and peaceful, you will always be in a good mood and spirit. You react positively to any situation you face.

Also remember, diet is very important along with physical fitness. Do not overdo it. Without proper diet, and rigorous exercise, you can become weak and fall sick. So, nutritious diet is necessary, for being healthy.

Your body is your treasure. It remains with you for life. So, take good care of it.
