They Know You, But Do They Value You ?

Probably NO. Just because someone knows you don't mean they'll value you.

Wait let me explain, for example, you have two books out of them one is a coloring book and other is your favorite novel.

Now, you know what is in the coloring book and purpose it served but you will not value it. It is not something that you want, it is not something that excites you or something that you would always keep.

On the other hand, you have your favorite novel, you love that so much that you would always keep it with yourself. Also, you love it so much that you would read it again and again.

So unless someone has the qualities and the abilities you want or you desire you won't value that person. Unless there is a person who feeds your soul, your purpose, your passion you would not want them. Doesn't matter how good they are.

As someone can be a good person but not the right person for you.

And this is one of the reasons why not everyone deserves to know you because not everyone would value you. So look for the people who value you because that's what matters.

Now, your value would be different in different places. You are a different person in your home and in your school or in your office. Every person has a different version of you depending upon their experience. It also depends upon your respond or reaction or your abilities, shortcoming, qualities.

Also how you treat yourself sets the boundary of how people will treat you. Your self worth is determined by you not my others. And in this age of social media, we are just constantly measuring our self worth on basis of numbers and if you wanna do that, you might as well do it by how many times you have cried yourself laughing, for how many books you have closed with a funny warm feeling in your heart. It might as well be counted by the number of people who have been lucky enough to have you in their life or by the number of fluffy marshmallows you can fit into your mouth. Or your worth would be determined by number of places around the world that have had the privilege of being graced by the your presence, or how many tiny droplets of water you have seen run down your window or darling maybe something else completely for you...don't you see you get to choose your own worth. It's all up to you.

Don't let someone else tell you how much you should love or value yourself.
