Ring-a-ring-a-roses :

Ring-a-ring-a-roses,
A pocket full of posies;
a-tishoo,a-tishoo
We're all fall down.

This rhyme was presumed to be about two major plagues in the human history:

1) The Black Death(1340s)inEurasia which took away lives of millions.

2) Great Plague of London or bubonic plague(1665 to 1666, caused due to bite from an infected flea).

The bruises caused due to this plague would appear in the shape of rings on skin.
posies were the flowers carried by people to avoid being affected by the plague.
A-tishoo symbolises sneezing due to being unwell. we all fall down means to die.
