Refreshing Summer Time Drinks

Nothing says summer unless an afternoon spent relaxing by the pool and ice cooled beverages in hand. One obviously cannot drink water the whole day as we also need to give something tasty and delicious to the body. Here are some tasty yet healthy drinks. These incredibly rounded up refreshing coolers that are not only delicious but low-calorie and nutritious to celebrate the sun-kissed summer days.

1. Strawberry Lemonade:
There’s nothing that beats our new favorite summer drink, except adding strawberries and enough sweetness to the mix.

Add strawberries, agave and lemon juice in blender and strain juice through a sieve if one doesn’t prefer pulp. Fill a gallon with juice and chilled water, pour over ice and garnish with lemon slice and strawberry.

2. Watermelon Chiller:
Whether for cleansing or detoxing, watermelon is a perfect summertime fruit. And this watermelon and mint themed drink has a refreshing flavor with no added sugar.

Add seedless chopped watermelon in blender and blend until smooth. Pour over ice and garnish with mint.

3. Orange sports drink:
This electrolyte drink is 100% natural instead of sports drink bottles with unnatural ingredients. This refreshing orange drink restores and quenches your thirst without risks.

Heat up ½ cup water to the boil and remove from heat. Add honey and sea salt and give it a stir. Add remaining water to the jar following by honey water, 1pint no added sugar lemon and orange juice, stir and refrigerate.

4. Sparkling lime-mint quencher:
This non-alcoholic drink that tastes like a Mojito is both light and refreshing that gives a bubbly kick to your mood. Quencher drinks help you cut back to sugar and calories.

Add freshly squeezed lime juice, mint leaves, and pure maple syrup to a glass and give it a stir. Add ice into the glass and top with sparkling seltzer water (be sure not a club soda or tonic water) and garnish with slices of lime if desired.

5. Strawberry pineapple mimosa:
Mimosa is an easy and perfect drink for a brunch hour. Best of good mimosa is the addition of strawberries that adds a little bit of color along with pineapple twist.

Using pitcher mix both orange and strawberry juice and pour mixture into a glass filled with sparkling white wine or seltzer water and serve immediately.
