All Set For Political Innings, Gautam Gambhir Joined Bharatiya Janata Party Today

Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir joined BJP on Friday.

In the presence of Arun Jaitely, Amit Shah and Ravi Shankar, Gambhir joined the party.
Gambhir said, "He joined the party because he was highly inspired by Prime Minister Modi."

Gautam Gambhir, the 37 year old, who was recently awarded with the Padma Shri and retired from all forms of cricket in December, started his new innings of politics.

Gambhir may contest polls from New Delhi constituency, according to some reports.
