Apart from the two incidents of The Mary Celeste and The Ellen Autsin’s Queer Finding from my previous article named Bermuda Triangle – The Pernicious Triangle, there are many more such unexplained disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle.

The USS Cyclops

In March 1918, a huge fuel ship of the US navy called the USS Cyclops was heading towards Baltimore from Brazil, that is, it has to go right through the heart of the beast. The ship was supposed to deliver ten thousand eight hundred tons of manganese ore. The ship had three hundred nine people on board including the ship’s captain and the day it set off was very nice and calm. The only message received from the ship after they set off, was that they weren’t in any trouble and then the entire ship with all the crew members just vanished. There weren’t any distress signals from the captain and even after thorough investigation of the area, no traces of the vehicle were found.

The Flight 19

On December 5, 1945, a group of five Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bombers had set off from the naval base at Florida. The Flight-19 contained 13 trainees, in different flights, led by commander Charles Taylor. The day was clear and the flight took off from the base somewhat around 2:10 p.m. They were supposed to cover a triangular area of vertices as Hens and Chicken Shoals, Bahamas and the naval base back in Florida. At around 3:30 p.m. commander Taylor’s compass went out of whack, so immediately he was instructed to go towards Miami. But due to issues in the compass, the commander got confused and lost track of their course. The base could not get any traces of the flights from the radar, so two Martin Mariner planes were set off in search of the flights. But quite strangely, neither flight-19 nor one of the two mariners ever showed up till date.

The Grumman Cougar Jet

This was one of the recent Bermuda Triangle mystery, which took place during Halloween in 1991. The jet was piloted by John Verde and co-pilot Paul Lucaris and was heading towards Tallahassee, flying over the Gulf of Mexico. The day the jet set off wasn’t an ideal day, so the pilot was granted permission to increase the altitude in order to get above the turbulent clouds. Just as the jet did so, it vanished from the radar all of a sudden, they tried to call the pilots but there was no answer. This case was different as the jet was not falling into the ocean, rather it was gaining altitude and then suddenly it vanished. No trace of the jet has ever been found.

The MU 2B

This is the most recent of all the disappearances, on May 15th in 2017, a twin engine plane piloted by Nathan Ulrich and having, the sky light group founder and CEO, Jennifer Bloomin along with her two little sons. The plane left Puerto Rico and was heading towards Titusville, Florida. The weather was intact when they took off but when the plane reached a height of 24,000 feet, it just disappeared from the radar and as before neither the passenger nor the pilot have ever been found.

All these incidents are real and there are many more such incidents which give an idea of how many souls have been taken by the Devil’s Triangle.
