With the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) winning a complete majority with 303 seats on its own and adding its allies seats making it 353 seats, the next task for the BJP would be to form its cabinet. The cabinet oath is scheduled on 30th May at 7 pm at Rashtrapati Bhawan and it would be quite interesting to see how would the cabinet shapes like. Apart from BJP, some cabinet berths would be given to its allies namely Janata Dal (United) from Bihar, Shiv Sena from Maharashtra, Shiromani Akali Dal from Punjab, Lok Janshakti Party from Bihar and AIADMK from Tamil Nadu, being some prominent partners of the National Democratic Alliance.
It would be interesting to see the role given to Arun Jaitley who is recovering. A big role might be given to Amit Shah who won the Gandhinagar constituency by a big margin and is the present President of BJP. His tenure as President was over in January 2019 but was given an increase till the Lok Sabha Elections.

A prominent role for Shivraj Singh Chouhan, former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh is also awaited and would be interesting to see whether he would be inducted into the cabinet or given some big responsibility in the party.
Talking about the allies LJP Leader Ram Vilas Paswan who didn't contest the Lok Sabha polls this time would be nominated to the Rajya Sabha from BJP as promised to him during the seat sharing formula of the NDA in Bihar. He is expected to take oath as a Cabinet Minister too as in 2014. A Couple of berths would be given to each Shiv Sena and Janata Dal (U) and it would interesting to see. Some senior member of the AIADMK might also be inducted into the Modi Cabinet as AIADMK has only won a single seat in Lok Sabha, their Leader might be a made through Rajya Sabha into the cabinet.
PM Modi hosted a dinner for his NDA Allies.
The Modi Government does not have a majority in Rajya Sabha and it is expected that it would get it by the end of 2020 too and that would make things easier for the Government to pass bills and make laws.
