Recyclingis important in today’s world if we want to leave this planet for our future generations. It is good for the environment, since we are making new products from the old products which are of no use to us.

Recycling is the process of converting waste material into a new product which further helps in reducing the waste of energy , fresh raw material and helps in preventing pollution.

Recyclable material includes glass, electronic goods, paper, plastic, metals and so on.
Recycling helps in reducing the exploitation of these natural resources for example paper is produced from the bark of trees for which endless number of trees are felled down causing a huge depletion and often leads to soil erosion. The recycling of paper reduces the consumption of the bark of these trees and also saves energy as less energy is required for recycling in comparission to consumption of fresh raw materials.

This also brings about aa decrease in the environmental pollution .
As an example the production of plastic emits greenhouse gases whichcan be reduced through recycling. However each and every material cannot be recycled but recycling reduces the burden of natural resources, saves energy and decreases pollution.

It is highly economical and beneficial for us and recycles the waste material produces a new product for our use. It is our responsibility to use recyclable materials in place of non recyclable material like paper bags in place of plastic bags in order to reduce the burden on mother earth. We can all do our part and we will make a huge difference.
