The story follows as in a place like Mumbai, the dream city for many people. Two youngsters dream to buy their own house, but due to inflation and zero savings they aren’t able to do so.

After sometime, they see a housing scheme for couples and apply for it. Usually people are first friends then they get married and then they buy their own house, but, in the film, the story goes completely in reverse direction. First they come together and approve to buy the flat and divide the property in the share of 50-50.

Later they decide to fill the form, and appeal for a court marriage. Since the girl belonged from a Christian family and the boy belonged from a Hindu family there is assurance that the families did a lot of drama and lately agreed for the same. Generally, Christians get married in a simple way, they just go to the court and the work is done whereas, in Hindu families, no wedding takes place without Band Baaja and Baarat. So yes, there were fights which took place between the families related to the customs and rituals. Not only this, but fights also began between the boy and the girl. Due to trust issues, lack of understanding arose between the two.

Well, to be in a healthy relationship mutual understanding and trust play a vital role. After facing all the challenges, including convincing the families for marriage, taking loan from bank, buying new furniture for their new house, breaking with each-other exes, and telling the whole truth to each other, the film ended as both stayed together as a happily married couple.
