Not so long ago, the journey of my school life came to an end and with it died all the amazing things we did there. What is left is some beautiful memories and worthwhile experiences collected over the time.. We’ve done it all, from bunking to securing 1st rank, from being teacher’s favourite student to the most indisciplined student, from teasing to being teased, everything. But everything has an end and life has to go on. That place has turned my dreams into reality and not only do I, but we all owe so much to our alma mater because that’s the place that grooms us into the person we are.
School life indeed is the most memorable time in one’s life and we all have some memories to cherish forever. We enter that place with bottles hanging in our tender necks, tears in our eyes and wailing to go back to our Mom and Dad but when we bid goodbye to that place, things turn around. We walk out with tears of separation in our eyes, with burden of losing our friends and what not. This place becomes our second home and time 13 years pass so quickly that we don’t realise it. We don’t remember growing older there. No matter if we're in a government school or some posh, high statue school, we all gain some memories. And we're left with those memories only. So, we must always try to make this short journey, a memorable one. Of course school life is not just sweet but is filled with a lot of bitter moments. Often times, we feel like escaping from our school life due to various reasons. We want to run away from it and dive into some deep hole where we can achieve the heights of solitude. There aretimes when we start hating our school but at the end of the day that is the place that has our heart. School is the best home for everyone.
Not only friends, teachers also add to our school life. They too make it beautiful as well as bitter. When we are 4 years old and get admitted to our schools,we are more or less like clay. And our teachers are the ones who mould us. Whatever they do is for our betterment, except for the assignments. So we must try to respect each one of them because that is the secret key to success.Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel Prize winner says that:
One child, one book, one pen and one teacher can change the world.
Being connected with your friends and teachers is good but never be so attached to them that they consume you. Make them a part of your life but never make them a part of you. Because when they leave, they’ll take away your parts and leave you shattered. Lastly, don’t count the days you spent with them, make the days count.
