This friday I had the oppurtunity to see the latest installment of the John wick movie series. By seeing the trailers of the movie I had high expectations for this movie and I have to say that I am baffled by how good this movie is. Usually the third movie in franchise is the moment when the franchise is quite possibly running out of steam. But not this one, the John wick series is still running strong and with their latest installment now released I have to say this series is the best example to what people call the perfect trilogy. Every movie in this trilogy is a masterpiece. This one quite possibly my favourite.

Now back to talking about the movie, the first thing that comes to my mind is the mindblowing action setpieces that this movie has showcased. Every action scene is a edge of a seat thriller and the audience were thoroughly entertained throughout the movie. I can safely say that this might be the new benchmark for all the future action movies. Kudos to all the people involved in the action department as everyone has done a stellar job. Also it is worth adding that the fight scenes in this movie are brutal and the faint of heart might look away.

Coming to the main protagonist of the movie, John wick is a highly skilled assasin who is being hunted by assasins all over the world from the very beginning of the movie due to a rule he broke in the second movie. Now John must find a way to survive the assasins who are coming to kill him. Keanu Reeves has done a stellar job yet again, every scene he is in is a joy to watch. Also knowing that almost 90% of stunts are done by him makes this movie more glorious.

The next thing that comes to mind is that this movie is visually fantastic, the city of New York at the night time is exceptional. The camera work during action scenes in this movie is one the best I've seen in recent years. The cinematography is great and I recommend seeing this movie in IMAX to enjoy it in it's full glory.

Overall this movie had everything I was expecting great action, great acting, great score and great cinematography. I highly recommend watching this movie and hats off to the director Chad Stahelski for making this masterpiece.

I think you rated it too high. Action was superb, but the plot was just decent.
