‘To let go doesn’t mean to get rid of.
To let go means to let be.
When we let be with compassion,
things come and go on their own.’
-Jack Kornfield

Twists and turns are stringed together in the pages of life. Though upstream seems hard to go through, yet the other side lies beautifully untouched. Living the state for a while doesn’t mark its eternity. Be it a bad relationship, grudge, betrayal or neglect, no matter how powerful it has possessed your mind, there has to be a switch to turn this down. Negativity is contagious and accumulating more of the past debris is like carrying heavy baggage which holds nothing useful.

Letting go is an art of leaving the rest that has been pressing your nerve for a long. At times it may seem impossible but walking away from the one which has been hurting bad is probably the right option to go with. Past leaves an incredible mark in everyone’s life but getting ruled by it hardly justifies present.

As things never go planned, there will always be a difference between the state you lived once and the one which you are living in. Investing in outcomes leads to a great degree of disappointment. Hence, dealing with a circumstance is rational enough to respond and accept. Expectations aren’t bound to yield the way they are planned, programmed and invested. Setting respectable boundaries can help at times while others demand to let go.

Playing a prisoner of the past is more or less an open invitation to self misery. Here, omitting the self-limiting belief nurtures a better understanding and a healthy relationship with oneself. One can only control his part of the play, on the contrary, the other side is seldom predictable. Wasting time, effort and caliber on resolving the same is none other than waiting for the clueless destination to pop up.

Freeing oneself from assumptions others may come up with lessens worrying. Prioritizing thoughts and emotions marks healing of the soul and boosts the one with immense joy and happiness. Losing hope, trust, and faith is painful but not letting go the same is devastating. Practicing gratitude, appreciation and trusting is better soul food to switch to. Moreover, leaving the past at its place is always peaceful.

M. K. Gandhi once said,

‘Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.’

Hence, learn to forgive, learn to walk away because,
'you too deserve the freedom, you too need to let go off what's burdening your soul'.
