There are rarely some Bollywood movies that are best commercially as well as heart touching. YJHD is one of them. It’s a complete coming-of-age movie which captures the essence of the new generation and it’s the idea of romance, friendship, passion, career, and relationships. It’s so pure that it becomes almost impossible for anyone not to compare themselves with any of The four characters. This movie besides being blockbuster gives us teachings about life, love, and friendship all in one.
Here are 10 things out of many which the movie taught us.
We all dream of having a group of friends with whom we want to keep the bond for a whole life. The friendship between Aditi bunny nine and avi gave us such chills making us cherish friendship with our friends.
The thing between Aditi and avi showed us that no matter how much you love someone they will never love you back. Most of us have always felt the moment where Aditi prepared ham and cheese for avi and he just said “Nahi chiye”. Somethings are just not meant to be and it’s worthless waiting for them.
Aditi didn’t wait for avi instead she moved on and found taran whom she married. She says she was okay and was living her life but after she met Tarun she found out she can be happy too. So it just needs that one person to make everything alright. Spending time with them makes it all good.
Naina and bunny both were too different from each other but couldn’t help not farming in love. The trip proved no matter how mu h you try love will never resist itself. If it has to happen it will.
Naina decided to go on the trip impulsively which made her found her love. She decided to go to the party that night leaving her books.
Naina is the best example of this proverb. Who knew a girl with specs on who looks shy and introvert can fight bad-asses, sing Bachchan'ss songs, win the race and much more.
Naina didn’t know she was fun beautifully and a girl who can make people fall in love. Sometimes we need to hear what others think about us in order to appreciate ourselves. Bunny made naina to look at herself from his eyes and we can see the result in the “Balam pichkari” song. It’s a happy moment right?
It is the adventures in life that give us a break from the mundane routine. Making memories with friends and family is always the best thing to do.
All of us needs to grow up and stop being like an 18-year-old teenager. Everyone has to become serious at some point in our life. We should let off all the childishness and let go all that’s stopping us from reaching our goal some day.
When you accept and embrace yourself that’s when you grow. Stop controlling yourself and just be you. People who care will never be bothered and those who don’t care don’t matter.
