A Letter To My Long Distance Best Friend

My dear long distance bestie,

Right from school time people have known us as best friends. The ones who are always seen together no matter what, who did everything together, be it lunch or homework. I know that we’re miles away from each other now and I don’t get to see you every day, but still, our bond has never faded and with time I can feel the bond and our love getting stronger day by day. Many people live their lives by not even finding a single person close to them or having a person whom they can call best friend, to share their feeling or just bitch around. I’m so lucky that I’ve found you from my childhood.

I want you to know how proud I am to have you, for everything you’ve accomplished and for everything you’ve attempted to accomplish!Keep being you, never ever change and never be afraid to take chances.I’m always there to attend your calls, texts or facetime away and that we never mind any time difference between us. I understand that it’s not possible that we drop our work every time for each other and things would have to wait sometimes but the faith won’t ever fade. I'll always be there for you, no matter what.

I want to say thank you for, always listening to my senseless venting, jokes and emotional drama every time and just for being there. I can’t imagine anyone else who would support me the way you did. I can't imagine someone else would have made me laugh like the times you did while I was low. You are part of my family and you will always own a piece of my heart. This distance between us won’t matter anyway. It never did and it won’t ever do. Thank you for being with me when I had lost faith in myself.

I love the me whenever I am with you. I become the carefree person again, I enjoy my time with you, prank with you, have a hearty laugh with you, cry a little, but the most important thing is I feel myself just for that little time. Thank you for giving me that time.

When we meet we have the best kind of talks and hug and I love spending time with you but it's really hard when it’s time to wave goodbye. In hopes of meeting soon, we part and our friendship linger on within memories and along with facetime.
