According to the internet, the definition of fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. Being afraid is a beyond normal experience that everyone in the world has. Fears can range from being as big as being afraid to go out during a storm because of the chance of lightning striking you, or as small as the fear of walking around in the dark. From spiders, to storms, to heartbreak, different people have different things that they are afraid of.

All people on this earth have their own fears. Some people fear darkness while others light for some itself life is more fearful while of others death is very freighting, which gives them goose bumps. And, most bizarrely, some people fear the crowds while others do not feel comfortable with the isolation and solitude. It means fear is a ubiquitous phenomenon which all the people suffer from.

They say that fear is sheer the state of mind. With strong mental power and indomitable confidence, fear can be easily kept at bay. But the most vital question that arises here is - how can such mental resilience be developed. The lama cult of life says that all problems which human beings face are only of two types. The first category includes those problems which are without any solution. So, there is no need to be worried about them. The second category includes those problems which have some definite solution and so for their solution we need not become desperately afraid of.

“If there is no solution to the problem then don't waste time worrying about it. If there is a solution to the problem then don't waste time worrying about it.” - Dalai Lama

Most of start worrying when we are not able to find solutions to our problems. But we must realise one thing that worry doesn’t have the power to prevent anything bad from happening in our life. Also, the bad things that we worry about may never end up happening, and many good things can happen instead. So, worry is completely useless. While it’s healthy to be concerned about something, it’s unhealthy to worry about it. That’s because concern motivates you to do something to solve problems or plan helpful ways to cope with them, but worry keeps you stuck on problems and distracts you from planning any helpful ways of dealing with them. No matter how hard you try, you can’t stop bad things from happening, because you live in a fallen world. However, you do have the choice of how yourespondto whatever happens. You can decide to stop dwelling on worrisome thoughts after they enter your mind, and instead start thinking positively.

So, what is rational step is to always stay patient and courageous to whatever challenges befall us.
