Demanding Death Of Young Girls

Murder for money is a major issue present in the world currently. People are killed for money directly or indirectly. They kill people to loot money from them. The other kind of murder for money is inhuman, the murder for dowry. The murder for dowry has also led to the death of the entire girl’s family as well.

When a person kills a man or woman for money, it is said as a crime and no father would want to give his girl to such a person, but in the case of dowry death the father knows that his daughter would be violated, and still decides to marry his daughter to that person.

A dowry death is the murder of a married woman caused by a dispute over her dowry. The husband and the in-laws attempt to impose for greater dowry money to be paid by a girl’s family. If they take time to pay them continuously through harassing and torturing her. This results in the girl committing suicide or the family themselves killing the girl or putting themselves into debt and paying the money they ask for. In most of the cases they end up selling their property and things for the life of their daughter.

The majority of these suicides are done through hanging, poisoning, burning themselves, hurting themselves with knives and other sharp objects. This is sometimes done by the male’s family and portrayed as suicides. They turn merciless when it comes to dowry.

When a dowry death is done by setting the woman on fire, it is called bride burning. It is often murder and they make it appear to be a suicide or accident. They are sometimes done by setting the woman on fire. They make it appear in such a way that it seems like she had ignited while cooking at a kerosene stove.

The greed for excess money has caused this kind of deaths. This not only happens in rural parts, it still happens even in the urban regions. The deaths for dowries lasts in many countries. In India it was banned in 1980 but it still lasts in our country.
