In India, we enjoy variations of tea, from masala to green. The beverage lovingly called chai is available almost everywhere weather it be on streets to railway stations or big cafés all the time. India is one of the largest producers as well as the consumers of tea.
Here are variations to the lovely tea to change your taste and include healthy ingredients to it.
1. Lemon tea
Ingredients::
Lemon juice
Tea powder
Honey
Mint or ginger or combination according to choice.
Boil tea leaves in water for 2-3 min. Strain the mixture. Add lemon juice and honey to sweeten it up & serve.
2. Green tea
Good for heart, lowers cholesterol, detoxifybody.

Sugar or honey according to taste
Boiling water
Lemon, ginger or mint depending on choice.
3. Ginger tea
Ginger has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Ingredients::
Slices of ginger root
boiling water
honey or sugar, depends on choice
1 dash of ground turmeric or 1 dash of black pepper, on choice.
4. Green Tea Frappuccino
Ingredients::
Ice cubes
Full-fat milk
Powdered sugar
Vanilla extract
1 ½ tablespoon premium Japanese matcha-green tea powder
Blend all ingredients in a blender and blend until the mix becomes smooth, creamy and even in color and enjoy.
5. Chocolate tea
Ingredients::
Boiled Milk
Tea powder
Coco powder 1/2 tsp
Sugar
Cinnamon
Add tea powder & sugar to boiled milk. Add cinnamon and coco powder. Simmer and let it boil till it is frothy, strain & serve.
6. Herbal tea
Tulsi & Ginger helps in relieving congestion and soothing the respiratory system. Mint helps in relieving cold and cough.

1 tbsp chopped ginger
Honey
Blend tulsi leaves, mint and ginger in a mixture. Mix the paste with boiling water. Let it simmer, strain the mixture & serve.
7. Black tea
Black tea is rich in antioxidants, contains alkylamine, helps in improving immunity. Good for people suffering from diabetes and cholesterol.

As the water comes to a boil, add tea leaves and sugar keep stirring on medium heat. Let the water infuse all the aroma from the tea leaves, strain and serve.
