Jurassic Nostalgia

I guess it's quite clear that arguably 'Jurassic Park/World' one of the most successful franchise along other legendary movie franchise such as 'Star Wars','Star Trek' and few others

The feeling that we got when we first saw the dinosaurs in the first JP movie was something amazing right?!,I mean we had never seen something like that before, By the way hats off to the Stan Winston studios for such amazing Animatronics, yes you heard me, those were animatronics (Most of the people still think it's mostly CGI) anyway, watching huge dinos that looks so real, Crafty story by Michael Crichton,Goosebumps giving background score by John Williams and of course the movie being directed by the legendary directors Steven Spielberg! There's no way this can't be a blockbuster! And thus it hit the theatres in 1993 and became a #1 movie grossing 800+ million dollars making it the highest grossing movie all time! Reviews were positive( No surprises there) both from critics as well as by the audience! And boom,before you even know the movie is a Mega Blockbuster!

Now coming to the sequel of it,'The lost world:Jurassic Park', for most of the Jurassic fans out there this wasn't a great sequel right?!, But hear my say,I think I liked it more than the first one!! Why?,It was way more darker and thrilling, each and every scene was thrilling and kept you at the edge of the seats! All the actions sequence and dino attacks were at night,which to me is very appealing! But hey,it also had it's own problems, Why the hell would someone bring an infant T-Rex to the trailer just to fix its broken leg when they know its gonna attract the parent T-Rex.This was an adoption of the book by Michael Crichton as well,Directed by the same legendary director Spielberg ,Composed by the same guy Williams! But nope, it didn't get enough credits for what it deserved, for me it's one of the most underrated movie in franchise!

Next comes the one which is mostly hated by almost all of the Jurasflix! fans! I agree, there were a lot of plot holes! I know right,I can barely hear my cell phone ringing which is in my next room and these guys were able to hear it from the bottom of the belly of spino! OK let's get to that later,The problem with this movie was from the beginning, the scrapped scripts, change in director, unfinished script, such a hateful character of Amanda Kirby! Change in the main character i.e. Spinosaurus instead of T-Rex and what nots!!! Lot of plot holes, as I mentioned earlier that's one of the point that how can they hear the ringing of a satellite phone from the belly of spino! What can Ellie possibly understand when Alan said"The river,Site B"?, it's one of the most forgettable movie of the franchise and everyone ranks it their least favourite, but it could be a good popcorn flix!

Then came after a long wait of 14 years, 'Jurassic World' a reboot of the original series,with completely different characters and completely different theme park and the main character has been changed to a hybrid named,'Indominus Rex' ! Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard did an excellent job by making the movie watchers their favourite characters! This movie was something that was out of the Jurassic franchise! The raptors which were one of the antagonists of the original series become protagonists! And even the T-Rex had become a good guy in this! Since,it came after a long wait, the box office was completely shattered,500+ million dollars in its opening week ain't a joke! It stood out to be an excellent movie for a series opener! Becoming the 3rd highest box office collection until December 2015! Audience widely franchise while a few didn't like it or considering it as an average movie,Even I thought this was kinda an average movie! And besides every single thing in this movie is blue-ish which ain't so good to watch! Anyway things have been said, but its the second mostly liked movie in the franchise

Jurassic world : Fallen kingdom was released 2 weeks earlier in many of the territories prior to its release in USA! It was a movie which was darker than its predecessor and also since the director was JA Bayona he gave a tinge of horror, which was totally awesome! It keeps you at the edge of the seats! Arguably has one of the best opening sequence! It had Indoraptor as its antagonist while the raptor Blue returning as a kinda protagonist! The island is gone, the dinos aren't in the island anymore,the movie ended with more of a cliff hanger!ig the Jurassic fans anticipating in what comes next! Speaking fo box office, as of July 19, it has collected 1.139 billion dollars, making it the 18tt highest grosser of all time! I personally loved this movie as well! But few of the fans disliked it citing that it didn't feel like they were watching a Jurassic movie at all,but just a dinosaur movie!
