"Why can't boys wear pink ?" " Why should girls definitely learn cooking ?" "Why can't men get leaves to watch thier babies just like mothers get maternity leave?" " Why are the boys taught 'boys don't cry ' ?"

In the world of Man and Woman , we have forgotten lies a world of Humans, who without being categorised are equally capable of doing all sort of jobs.

Imagine a scenario, where your little boy grows old and goes to a college far away from his hometown and lives in a PG. How would he survive if he doesn't know how to cook ? Now you being the most loving parents would say , you would hire a housemaid . Well, I'd like to ask what if he is studying late night and feels hungry ? Or has an early morning interview and needs to leave early ? Would he be waiting for the housemaid to come or would find an alternative.

In the world of man and woman , where all girls are taught how to cook so that they won't have a problem after marriage, try teaching your son cooking too , so that he can be independent and doesn't face a problem in future.

"Padega India tabhi toh badega India" "Beti bachao beti padao."

Yes,we all know these slogans. But how many of us know that more than half of the nation's population lacks even basic literacy skills and out of which majority are women.

Beacuse , " woman are supposed to look after their family and raise children, what would they do by studying?" is the mentality of a lot of Indians.

Well I can name many of the famous indian women , Anandi Gopal Joshi ,Indira Gandhi,Justice Anna Chandy, Kalpana Chawla and so many more , but don't you want your child , be it a girl or a boy , to be successful and have a good life?

Imagine a scenario, an uneducated girl got married to an educated boy . They were a happy couple and were happily raising their 2 kids in their new house which they bought by taking loan from people and the bank. One day, the boy dies in an accident leaving his wife and the two kids in a lot of debt. Who would take care of them? Who would clear their debt ? Who would educate the children? Imagine the level of difficulty the family would be facing.

Had she been educated , she could have supported the family and with time could have cleared the debt.

In the world of Man and Woman, where this stereotype run in the veins of many families , try educating your children be it a boy or a girl , so that in future they do not have to be dependent on anybody and can have a better life.

These stereotypes are bringing no good to our society , but are only pulling us down. One needs to understand that a girl and a boy , both are creatures of God and both deserve equal respect and both are equally important.
