Only in the darkness can you see the stars.
~Martin Luther King Jr.
All along I’ve heard to everyone and hid it deep underneath, beneath all the misery and sorrow. But now I see how beautiful it is, when let out it calms me down. It feels like a rush of energy spent on something that is more than just worthwhile.
I agree, that it can turn evil when it is let out of control and that we humans have no control over it, but sometimes letting it out will show you how bad a person can be. It shows you one of the so many incredible and incredulous wonders of the human mind.
Letting a part of your inner darkness out doesn't mean that you let go of the equally beautiful light within you. You must learn to control both the yin and yang of life, only then will you be able to know what lies beyond the horizon that we keep seeing. To reach our utmost potential we must learn how to control our inner self first because, in the end, that is what guides us in doing what we do.
The two paths, the path of light and darkness shouldn't be considered different. It should be considered as one path. We must learn to walk on a path that teaches and shows us both of our sides because if we weren't meant to see it, like some say, why would it be there?
Remember that only in the darkness can one see the brightest light. Only in our hard times can we see those who truly are with us. open yourself up and live life to the fullest. Learn to express yourself and always have faith in yourself. You can do the impossible, no matter what people say.
