Bon Iver

In 2006, Justin Vernon (an indepndent artist) formed a band known as Bon Iver meaning "Good Winter" from a French phrase. In 2007 they released an album named " For Emma, Forever Ago " debuing it as an independent band in which most of the songs were recorded in a cabin which belonged to Justin's faher, isolated himself for 3 months in Wisconsin, US.

Though there have been many bigger bands in the world like Coldplay, One Direction, Bon Iver compose music with fewer lyrics and more of instrumentals. They are certainly not known to a huge population of this world but when you hear them sing and play their resonator's, you just stay quiet and enjoy those heartbreaking sounds from their guitars.

Justin is the lead siger of this band and the reason for its creation. Michael Noyce the guitarist, S. Carey plays the piano and the drums are played by Matthew McCaughan

All met Justin through music at each periods of their life.

Justin broke up from his former band DeYarmond Edison and his relationship, went back to his father's cabin in the woods and recorded his debut album. People listening to this album twisted up the creation of this album by saying that Justion was heart broken by a girl named EMMA and isolated himself in his fathers cabin and put out this depressed album.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Justin told that the story was not true quoting "Emma isn't a person. Emma is a place that you get stuck in. Emma's a pain that you can't erase." , There was a girl named Sara Jensen in his former band who played the saxophone, middle name

EMMA.
