In our time of schooling, the education was a routine type where we were made to learn the subjects theoretically whatever it may be mathematics or science. Teachers used to explain the concepts and we used to solve problems under exercises. But, the same thing is not going to work on for the next generation. Because, as technology is growing a vastly, the opportunities are even growing. So, there is a need to update our skills mean there is a need to renovate the way and the things that to be learned relatively.

We came across programming languages and struggled and learned them accordingly to apply them in work force. All of you would have observed how the different programming languages used to differ. Only the so called their syntax will be different between one programming language to other but the code remains same all throughout. Here the point is if we study those different syntaxes we will be able to cope up with them. But when comes to coding, it only comes with good practice. It depends on how creatively and innovatively we think when a problem statement is given. This logic or the best code can only be possible if we have good practice i.e. if we are exposed to different problems.

Right from the primary schooling, once we were familiar with all those additions and multiplications, we were made to solve different so called word problems in mathematics where the manipulations were again those additions and multiplications but there we need to read each and every sentence one by one and analyze it so as solve it. Here, the solution would be automatically gained from the logic. In the same way in workforce, we will be given different real time applications to solve where a problem statement will be given and we need to write code so as to solve the problem. The same analysis which we did in our school will be done in practical. Thus in a nutshell we can define this finding of logic in a problem as code and applying it with help of any comfortable programming language is coding or programming.

So this would be the need of skills which should be developed in our children so that they could survive in the future competitive world. Because as technology is changing that is growing day by day, there will be a huge growth in the automation the future. Believe it or not in the coming days, the companies will be definitely runned by robots. And the humans will be working among robots. Yes! But we cannot say that the job opportunities will be decreased. We humans created by the god are not perfect then, how the robots created by us will be damn perfect. There will be many technical problems will arose which can be only solved by human technicians with relevant coding skills. So in future those have good coding skills can only survive in those technical field.

Now after knowing about the need, we need to see how coding would be helpful in developing different skills. Coding for kids not only helps to improve their mathematics and writing skills but also gives them valuable skills in life and eventually in the workforce. And thus, this would also develop interest in them regarding opting of future career.

Thus, if you want to set your child up for academic and skills development simultaneously which would help them to do great innovations in future and succeed in their lives, then making them learn how to code is one of the best decisions.
