In the words of James “ Youth is the joy, the little bird that has broken out of the eggs and is eagerly waiting to spread out its wings in the open sky of freedom and hope.”

Youth is the spring of life. It is the age of discovery and dreams. India has the largest youth population in the world today. The entire world is seeing India as a source of technical manpower. They are looking at our youth as a source of talent. Indian youth has the power and capability to make our country from a developing nation. Is it only a dream? No, this dream takes them to stars and galaxies and to the jar corners of the unknown and some of them like Kalpna Chawla pursued it and died eventually for in this process.

The youth hopes for a world free of poverty, unemployment, inequality and exploitation of humans by humans. A world free of discrimination on the ground of race, colour, language and gender. A world full of creativitie challenges and opportunities to conquer them. But let us convert these hopes to reality.

Martin luther har quoted “ I have a dream” and dreams come largely true if we work towards our goals with determination. If he had not thought of that dream, he would have accomplished nothing in his life. Another problem is having different attitude towards things, situation and politics. The new cool formula of “let things be” is proving fatal to India’s development. Lack of unity and spirit is the major set back.

India can become a developed nation only if everyone contributes to the best of their capacity and ability. Youth is wholly experimental and with the utilization of talents of the youth, India will become a developed nation.

Youth is like a fire, it will creep forward. A spark at first, growing into a flame then brightening into a blaze.
