Sholay is a typical Bollywood drama film directed by Ramesh Sippy. Released in 1975, this film is remembered till now because of the intriguing screenplay and evergreen dialogues. The movie starts with the arrest of Gabbar Singh, the dacoit who has created havoc in a village Ramgarh by the policeman Thakur Baldev Singh. The story continues with lots of twists and turns, and Jai-Veeru finally succeeding in taking the revenge.

Bhuvan receives huge criticism from his fellow villagers for accepting the challenge. Slowly Bhuvan was able to persuade the villagers and make a team of players who were ready to face the British team by learning this alien game with the help of another fellow British woman Elizabeth, the sister of captain Russel.
