The Flying Pigeon

Do you remember this vehicle? Once it was a flying pigeon in our hands. There was a time when we used too polish and keep it beautiful. Everything is just a memory now. If we see a bicycle anywhere now, we seem to be very happy. Imagine the number of unlimited memories we had riding a bicycle. The number of trips we had gone with it. It never used to cheat us. There was a trust that we laid upon it wherever we went. But now everyone has switched to cars and scooters. When we were in school we used to come in cycles. It was total fun. After class, we used to hang out with our friends and go for small trips. But now even small children come in superbikes and cars. They have everything they want at the tip of their hand.

When we passed 10th grade we would get a new cycle, but today’s children get a bullet. Time has really gone past and everything has a nostalgic feeling now. It was even good for our health and daily exercise. We had no accidents then. But now due to the increase in a number of vehicles and its speed, accidents are increasing day by day. It is terrifying to hear the sound of these vehicles. The bullets and superbikes are really dangerous and speedy. They have a great engine capacity which makes them so capacitive. When there was an era of cycles, there was no pollution, traffic, and accidents. But is there a day now where we can’t imagine without all these. Everything is past and a memory.

The only place where cycle used to cheat us was the punctures. It was all a burden once, but thinking about all that wet our eyes. How many times have we gone to the cycle shop to fill the air in the tube and to stick punctures? Time flies very fast and so does memories. It was once a flying pigeon, now it in our sheds covered with dust and dirt. Having all complaints and faults, even if are not using it, we are also not planning to sell it because we have such a bond with our dear cycles.
