Cochin has tropical monsoon climate. The summers are the hottest, however winters are moderate and rainy season is a lot wet. So if you are planning to visit Cochin for your next trip then it is better to plan a trip between November to March. Novemver to March is the best time to visit these tourists spots. Since the summers here is too hot, and rainy is to wet, there wouldn't be much left for you than the hotel room.

On an average, March is the warmest month of the year and rains begin here from May end until the end of October. And precisely there wouldn't be much fun to enjoy on the Princess Street or in Wonder La. And even beaches wouldn't be safe because of heavy rains and if it's summer then the temperature would reach around 40-45, that leaves for us none other than the period from November to March, to really enjoy. Now if you are wondering of winters here, off course on an average the coolest month is January. January will also be the most driest of all and June is the wettest month of the year. So if you are a fan of rains than maybe you could enjoy dancing with your prince on the Princess Street or would want to visit the beach if it's not raining. The temperatures here are almost always high.

During the peak season Cochin has a lot of tourists, International as well and that will be a lot of crowd.

But if you visit during rainy season it will be the most amazing part of your visit, because there's lush greenery everywhere and the lesser amount of tourists, the more better enjoyment. Not just this, the other activities that you want to do here would be less costly just because of the off season.

A flight from Mumbai, just takes only two hours to Cochin Airport. That does sound like you still have time to pack your bags and visit Cochin.

The waterfalls are overflowing not just with water but with serenity and peace, this might be your time as you can photograph the most beautiful colours of nature. The nearest places are about three hours from Cochin. Athirapally and Vazhachal are about 80 kilometres from Kochi. Thommankuth, another waterfall is just 74 kilometres from Kochi. Thusharagiri, Kozhikode and Palaruvi, Kollam are however atleast a day away from Cochin.
