Tarantino is one of the most eccentric and celebrated director of our generation and rightly so. The director with such a good eye for content and perfection that he has just directed 8 movies; all of which have been cult hits. His films are characterized by non linear storytelling, satire and an aesthetization of violence , extended scenes of dialogue,ensemble casts consisting of established and lesser-known performers all of which can be seen as a perfect example in pulp fiction which is one of my top favourites.

His journey started with reservoir dogs in which he acted also, which is also considered by many movie gurus as one of the movies that bought the Hollywood independent cinema to mainstream audience back in 1992. His 2 next projects were the Kill Bill sequels starring Uma Thurman where he gave his own unique Tarantino twist to the kung-fu martial arts revenge storylines. His next major 2 project, Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained were widely critcically and acclaimed and also lauded by the general audience. Both the films hadpolar storylines. Inglorious basterds following the storyline of a Recluse group during the Nazi era, headed by Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) who are anti Nazi; along with a parallel storyline of a manhunt of a French girl and a ruthless Nazi Colnel. This movie is another great example as to how storylines run parallel in Tarantino’s movies. Django unchained was set in the dark past of American History ofslavery. The movie showed the rise of Django from a slave to a free man. This movie was comparatively very linear with Leonardo Dicaprio as a powerful villain , Calvin Candie. Both the movies had Christopher Waltz at a pivotal role for which he showed some versatile and beautifulacting.

Quentin Tarantino’s movies are known for 2 distinct niches:
1) From the now iconic Big Kahuna burger and Sprite scarfed down by Samuel L. Jackson inPulp Fiction, to a gun-packed box of Kaboom Cereal blown apart by Vivica A. Fox inKill Bill: Volume 1, to Christoph Waltz’s with milk and pa- stry, and Dr. King Schultz inDjango,with beer and cake Tarantino is enamored with eating.

2) He was there before Stan Lee in bringing the art of Cameos on the silver screen. From being in Reservoir Dogs as Mr. Brown to appearing as a slave trasporter in Django Unchained he has done it all.

But all good things must come to an end Just like Day Lewis, he stated thathe will direct10 films and thenretire. Bringing us to his recent project of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He is known to have a closed casting of people who he previously worked with as we see him casting Leonardo and Brad in this latest flick. Some other names hehas recast are Harvey Keital, Chris Waltz, Uma Thurman, Sam Jackson and many more.. But for his 9^th film Tarantino has chosen a story that rocked and terrified the Hollywood community: the murders of seven people, including actressSharon Tate, by followers ofCharles Manson. It will be centered around the fictional story of a fadedtelevision actor andhis stuntsman who strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final year of Hollywoods’s Golden Age in 1969 L.A while showng all other episode on the west coast.

He has had his variety of controversies with the use of excessive violence, racism and But that don’t wither from the fact that he will go down as a legendary Director with Oscars and many more accolades to his name.
