The future. It’s so uncertain. It could contain just another ordinary day. Or a huge alien invasion, eliminating the existence of all humans and other life forms. You never know!

I think what makes the future beautiful, exciting even. The uncertainty of it. We don’t know what’s going to happen to us. It puts us into perspective, forces us to pay attention to the present. Why are we always trying to control that which is out of our control? I think we have all made plans and have had them fail on many occasions. So does that mean we shouldn’t make plans at all?

Absolutely not. Having defined goals, following a path, and knowing what exactly it is you want is great. It gives you motivation, a drive which pushes you to get what you want irrespective of the obstacles in your path. You don’t know what those obstacles will be, yet you know you will get there. There’s no detailed plan there, just a drive.

Though the future that is uncertain, it is YOU who shapes it. And that’s done by shaping your present. My friends gifted the book the Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy for my birthday, and let me tell you, I’ve learned a lot. The book explains the very concept of how you can control your future, or even predict it.

We don’t know it, but we all have unlimited power. We can make anything we truly want happen. It’s really just a matter of convincing yourself. See, if you have control of your subconscious, you control of your past, present and potential future.

The subconscious mind controls all the processes of the body. It alsoknows the answers and solutions to many of the questions and problems we have. When you’re at the brink of almost falling asleep, repeat to yourself all the things you want to happen to you. If you do this every night consistently, you will wake up one day realizing you have gotten it. There’s a catch though. Your emotions and thoughts all influence the action of your subconscious mind. So, be careful of what thoughts and ideas govern your mind. Negative thoughts will only result in negative consequences.

It’s easy to be a cynic. Always thinking pessimistically and giving up on life in general is an easy trap to fall into. However, true strength lies in knowing that no matter what happens victory will be yours. Expectations of the best experiences and emotions help us build this strength. Finding that positive outcome is the key to a successful future. Look at the positivity in your now to realize the happiness of the future!
