Changing Lifestyle Is Devastating Our Health.

Health is the most reliable gift of our life. It's a state of mind, a matter of choices, before being the state of our body & surroundings.It's a pillar of who we are & how smoothly can we carry ourselves & our activities & how well we manage to deal with sickness which might come around, time & again.

Yet, our lifestyle which constitutes our behavioural patterns, our routine activities, our habits including eating habits, food choices, waking up & sleeping patterns, etc has turned out against our health, ceaselessly.

From being simple human beings eating pure & unadultered food, walking miles to get something or to get something done, carrying out our work all by ourselves, playing outdoor games, meditating, exercising, taking time to meet neighbours, friends & relatives ; we've become complex human beings surviving on adultered food, be it junk food or food in any other form, & living our lives on tips of our fingers through mobile phones & laptops.

We hardly take time to move around our room & home, not to talk about morning walks, exercising & meditation. Most of our work is done by the gadgets that surround us & we utilize our time to invite stress & unwanted thoughts.

Lost are those days when happiness used to be shared on our dining table along with the meals & light chit chat. These days everyone is sick with the tag "busy."

Busy in being unhealthy, busy in being depressed, busy in involving oneself in wrong eating habits & busy in spoling one's routine.

Sleep deprivation, which is a direct consequence of our modern lifestyle results in headaches, inactivity, weak vision, poor focus, & in enough lethargy to make us curse our life for the whole next day.

Poor food habits & improper diet have resulted in millions of diseases which were unknown to our ancestors. From loving our unadultered food, to cursing the taste of medicines, the results are quite evident.

Young children are into eating more medicines than candies because of the habits they've developed. Be it heart diseases, depression, or any other disease, our lifestyle is increasing the cases surely.

The reliability on everything but ourselves has poorly devastated our healthy life. We eat a lot, or maybe not much, but whatever we decide to eat & at what time has become a major issue, as well. The word"balanced diet" seems like a word heard some decades ago.

These days taste conquers it all. Apart from all this, the present lifestyle is all about comfort. I mean, comfort & sitting back at one place has become the top most priority. We are unwilling to be physically active.

Reading books, contemplating, spending time alone is not there. Social media has dominated our minds & hearts badly. It's supposed to be a part of life, yet it seems it's become life itself. We're so much into social media world that we've forgotten how our actual work looks like. We're lost in the real world yet alive in the virtual world.

The changing lifestyle indeed is devastating our health majorly. Some consequences are evident while some will appear with time, if our lifestyle continues to be so poisonous. So, "modern" lifestyle is the price we're paying for our health.
