Relationship is the way two people are connected to each other.
Relationship among teens are the most criticized ones. Most of the people will tell you that you would badly fail in life if you enter into a relationship. But, how much of it is actually true?

There is no particular set of conditions associated with it. It's what you make it and how you keep it.

A relationship may mean different things to different people - sex, long term commitment or maybe just a friendly bond.

Being in a relationship can't anyway keep you distracted from your goals rather it depends on the person you are with and the kind of bond you people share. If you want to spend your future with your partner, you would rather be more focused on your career to lead a happy life with your love.

But even in 21st century people are with the idea that if a person has a partner , he/she cannot lead a successful life. But but but..

If not a partner, you have hundreds of other sources of distraction may it be internet, television, games or simply roaming out finding some excuse to not work hard. It’s simply better to be committed with a person who could make you feel better when you feel low, make you realise your capabilities and love you unconditionally.

If your partner discourages you, demotivates you or simply keeps on complaining for some or the other reason, he isn’t the right person for you.

A partner who understands you, supports you, motivates you and helps you achieve what you aim to, would be the ideal person you could plan your future with.

In a recent interview, UPSC AIR 1, Kanishak Kataria, spoke about the people who majorly contributed to his success. One of them was his girlfriend. He openly said on national television that she supported her so much in his career that he stands here today.

Now the time has come, when we need to understand that relationship in itself is just a bond, and not an obstacle or hindrance in your future; the way you maintain it is what is going to decide your present as well as future.

An ideal relationship has no definition. All what you want is someone who could understand you, support you and motivate you to the level best that ultimately empowers you even more to achieve your goal. Isn't it?

Here are a few simple steps to lead a better relationship.
1- Understand the kind of relationship you want. What are your goals? Are you planning to spend your future with the person?

2- If it’s a yes, you need to have a word with your partner. Ask them what they wish to achieve in their life. Discuss about your goals.

3- Discuss your future goals with your partner and tell them honestly how you feel about it.
4- Mutually decide the number of hours or time you would dedicate to each other and support each other’s personal space.

5- Understand, trust, motivate and help each other grow happy and successful.

And with these, you can achieve any milestone. Just believe in yourself.
