Social interaction is a basic part of human life without which he/she can’t live.

Social environment always influences our minds which in turn becomes the basis for people views and attitudes.

Well how these attitude forms:

At a very early age these are only opinions which turns out to be very important they become a part of attitude.

And how much these opinions are important to you depends on their extremeness or valence etc. in your mental system.

A simple attitude can be learned by any individual through various techniques like through rewarding or associating a certain thing with a behavior or even cultural groups etc.

Then does these attitudes are influenced?

Yes they do

But how?

Let us see

The factors responsible for formation of an attitude can also influence so like schooling or cultural groups or even media etc.

Then how attitude change?

Attitude changes when a certain compliance with the thought isn’t achieved for example a person dislikes smoking and a friend of his likes the same then there isn’t compliance between them either one of them has to change the considered attitude towards smoking or towards each other.

An attitude if is given compliance get enhanced.

Now there comes the answer that why company take celebrities to make their ads of products more attractive because people who admire the celebrities may try to change the attitude towards their product.

Sometimes not only this but product’s features also matter or message characteristics of mode of communication (face –to-face interaction is comparatively good in online interaction for achieving goals. That’s why interviews are conducted in corporate world as to know the words of a person plus body language and expression of the person etc.

A behavior can change an attitude of vice versa it isn’t compulsory that a certain behaviors will be responsible for formation of certain attitude.

Then what are prejudices and stereotypes?

Stereotypes are cluster of ideas and cognitions that are responsible for a certain behavior towards a thing, person or a group of people where a certain stereotype trait is considered to be present in all the people belonging to that group for example we all at one time in history thought that all Muslims are terrorists but now things are getting changed and people are becoming more and more aware of not making anyone victim of something unnecessarily.

Where prejudice are accompanied by hatred but discrimination also which is a behavioral traits linked to it.
