In this age of fashion, we speak, behave, decorate our houses and our lifestyle in common. Fashion is described as ‘ the prevailing mode in such things as are subject to change in form of a style, as in ornaments, etiquette and especially in the dress’ So its influence is natural for students to get afflicted with this symptom of modernity.

In a way it provides variety and uniqueness to our lives, providing a component of excitement in trying out something new. It would indeed be a drab life if we were supposed to behave and dress similarly.

The actor, actresses of the tinsel world and the fashion models are the trendsetters who are the role models for our present day youth. They are considered as the icons around whom the fashion revolves. People are so much attracted and inspired by the film industry that they immediately adapt to their style and fashion, in terms of clothing, jewelry, and accessories. They have a greater influence on our lives.

The fashion of teenage

It is a bit natural that students, who are in their adolescence, get attracted to fashion and try to emulate their role models. This obviously distracts them from their studies and quite often they regret this throughout their lives. I did not mean that they should not be smartly dressed.

Impacts of being over fashionable

It has also been noticed that their indulgence in fashion creates a divide among the rich and the poor more glaring, which at times appear vulgar. It also leads to a psychological imbalance in them, as they try to ape their affluent friends. However, in the absence of means, they try to land up in doing unlawful and unethical acts. There are thus incidents of youngsters taking to crime, just to buy a fashionable dress or suit for being within fashion.

When people travel to various places, they get influenced by their culture and try to implement them in their own lives. This might be one of the reasons for people to be over fashionable.

Conclusion

They must, therefore, strike the right balance between being fashionable and what is good for them. They should thus dress up well and behave properly so that they do not distract others as well as maintain the sanctity of the educational institution.

They have all the time in the world to indulge in their luxury after having finished their education. Mainly, this time is to be dedicated to studies as we have a lot more time in the future to enjoy a luxurious life and to dress up stylishly. This is because we all know that time and tide wait for none.
