Right To Vote

Elections are the way that gives us an opportunity to select whom we want our leaders to be.Its a right that not everyone in this world have.Many countries do not allow their citizens to vote and have forced monarchy or dictatorship kind of system.

We ,the Indians always complain about the corruption and the democracy in India,but just think what will happen if your right of criticising and complaining will be snatched from you.We all have listen about South Korea and about its ruler's dictatorship. The biggest difference between India and other countries that do not have voting rights is that atleast we have right to choose the one who will rule us .

There are wrong people in politics everywhere,and this can't be the sole reason on the basis of which we can decide not to vote.I have listened my friends saying that everyone is same and so there's no point in choosing anyone.

There are two things we all should always remember.Very first,if you will not take interest in politics ,then politics will take interest in you as you are the one paying taxes and your money is getting used by govt for various purposes.So,there is no reason as to why one should not take part in politics.

Secondly ,if someone is wrong and degrading the very idea of democracy then we have the power to show him the mirror ofreality.

If our vote can make someone win elections and become powerful then our vote has also the power to make that person come back to the ground as well.

The problem with Indian democracy is that people here show negligible interest and so the power holders do whatever they want as there is hardly any independent body to keep a check on them.

It's our responsibility to question our leaders if some promised work is not done.Its our responsibility to make our leader answer it ,not ignore it.We should be aware citizens and responsible citizens as well.

I request everyone to exercise their right to vote because it's the way you can contribute in the political system of India.

Also,this right that we take for granted is not omnipresent and some people fight for it for their lifetime to achieve this.

So please vote !
