Tesla, Inc. is an American automotive and energy company. It is owned by Elon Musk, who is the CEO of the Company. Its founders are Elon Musk, Martin Aberhard, Ian Wright. Elon Musk is the majority shareholder with 21.9% stakes in the company.

What makes Tesla unique and special is that the cars produced by Tesla work on electricity and provide the power and efficiency of the best cars available in the market.

Tesla was founded in the year 2003, Tesla ranked as the world's best selling plug-in passenger car manufacturer in 2018, both as abrand and by an automotive group, with 245,240 units delivered and a market share of 12% of the plug-in segment sales with 10 years in the market.

Tesla had a mission of "accelerating the world's transition to sustainable transport" but in mid 2016, under Elon Musk, the mission changed to "aacelerate teh world's transition to sustainable energy".
