After the coward attack on CRPF soldiers in Pulwama, many filmmakers have decided to prohibit the release of their films in Pakistan. First, of fall, a team of Total Dhamaal has decided to do so. Then after that team of 'Luka Chuppi', 'Arjun Patiala', Made in China' and 'Satellite Shankar' has also decided the same. But whether it would result in the loss to India or Pakistan, let's have a look to find it out.

A huge loss to Pakistan

Not releasing the film in one nation will definitely result in loss of filmmakers, but they are ready for that. In this context, an actor of 'Total Dhamaal' Ajay Devgan said that " Financial loss will happen but I the current situation, we are not thinking about that. We can't get to borders for a fight but this can be the way to support them who protects our country.'

According to Film Experts, not releasing the film in Pakistan will lead to huge loss to Pakistan. Actually, the popularity of Bollywood films in Pakistan is quite amazing. Even though they account for about 70-80% of overall business. According to one of the stats, when India has banned the release of their films in Pakistan during 2016, then it had caused fall in the number of people went to the theatre at about 60%.

Very few film productions are usually made in Pakistan so sometimes the theatre owners entirely have to depend on Bollywood Movies.

The threat to Piracy

Banning of films in Pakistan may result in Piracy of Bollywood films. So proper actions should be taken to prevent it.

Loss to Music Industry as well

Salman Khan has removed the song of Atif Aslam from movie 'Notebook' because of his belongingness from Pakistan. This is also being said that Salman Khan's upcoming movie Bharat also had a song of Pakistani Singer, which is removed now. All India Cine Workers Association also has banned all Pakistani artists. According to sources, a well-known music company has removed song of Pakistani's Singer from its YouTube channel.

Most of the famous singers of Pakistan get a lot of work in India as the Music Industry in Pakistan is not as much developed. If we talk about some famous Pakistani singers, Atif Aslam charges about Rs 50 to 70 lakh fees for his concert, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan charges for about Rs 30- 40 lakh and Ali Zafar charges about Rs 20-25 lakh. These stars mostly have their shows in India. And after their dismissal, they have to bear high losses.
