1. Everyone has heard the song in this series. Song by the Lucifer at his nightclub. However, Tom Ellis a.k.a Lucifer actually does his own singing throughout the entire show but he does not play the piano.

2. officially Tom Ellis tried to have an American accent for his role in the show but he didn't like it.

3. The main reason for him for choosing an English accent was because he thought that Lucifer sounded like a jerk. So he chose an English accent.

4. In every episode of Lucifer has a Unique name and in almost all the episodes the name of the episode is said by Lucifer himself.

5. This series is actually based on the DC Comic character Lucifer Morningstar. And the name of the comic is Sandman on which the series is based.

6. The name of Lucifer’s bar is “Lux” which is Latin for light, as well as the prefix and etymology of “Lucifer” (the light bearer).

7. If you have seen the series Supernatural then you must know that there is also Lucifer in that show. In season 11 Ep 10, the show’s version of Lucifer says that if he got out of his cage in hell he said he would move to LA and help solve the crime but the amazing thing is that episode aired before the Lucifer pilot.

8. In the entire show not once Jesus is referred or mentioned, not even casually from any character.

9. Apart from the pilot episode, the title of each episode is referenced at least once during its 45-minute airing.

10. Lucifer is never seen smoking, he is shown with smouldering cigarettes in an ashtray beside him or putting a cigarette out, or about to light it, but not actually taking a drag.

11. Tom Ellis admitted in an interview on January 22, 2016, that smoking is his biggest vice, and he has been smoking “too long. I need to stop”.

12. The incidental music all references god, hell or the devil, although not always in the sampled section.

13. Tom Ellis, Lauren German, and Aimee Garcia are all within 12 days of being the exact same age (November 17, 1978, November 29, 1978, November 28, 1978).

14. The book Chloe reads to Trixie is “Coraline” by Neil Gaiman. Lucifer is based on a character in Gaiman’s “Sandman” graphic novels.
