Books are the way to a creative world, sometimes way beyond imagination. Books are the way to never-ending enjoyment. Also, books are the way to my heart. A book is a friend that will never leave you, your loyal compadre in times of loneliness. There is nothing more relaxing in the world than a good book that makes you forget reality. A good book helps you dream better, sleep better and think better. A good book just generally makes your day better. Here are 3 amazing books a teen should read for sure:-
This book by Angie Thomas is a masterpiece, a complete pleasure to read. Starr Carter, a resident of mostly-black-occupied Garden heights attends a richer, white-dominated school farther from home. She watches her childhood bestfriend die unfairly at the hands of a police officer and hesitantly, but courageously and gradually takes a stand. She turns into the most mature 17-year-old you could ever meet, seeking justice for Khalil, her bestfriend. Who better for a teen to relate to than another teen. Starr is quirky, but moody all the same. She deals with friendships and relationships on the verge of breakdown. She is terrified of society, but she holds on, giving the reader the strength to hold on no matter what comes their way. This is a book full of life, no short on life lessons.
Forced to live with her grandmother for the summer, angsty pre-teen Margaret thinks it's going to be a dull few months. She has left behind a rocky relationship with her father, unhappy about his decision to remarry after her mother's death. Along the way, Margaret learns how to value and adjust in family and opens up into a compassionate person. She has always felt confidence and hope in her mother's name, Maggie as well as a desire to be like her. In the end, she realizes how dynamic she herself is and decides to call herself Maggie too.
This book has my heart. Brilliantly written, it might be a book one may find boring at the start, but is truly a banger inside out. This book gives you so much insight into evolution and makes human history so much fun to read. It takes you through an adventure guided by the writer, who ensures he will keep it interesting. Some might find that this book does not match their taste, but many may be surprised to find out how much it actually does.
Honourable mentions:- The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, Cinder by Marissa Meyer, A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, The Maze Runner trilogy by James Dashner and the To All The Boys trilogy by Jenny Han are some other marvellous reads one can always try. Your interests mght even differ from my recommendations, however there is never a shortage of books left to be read. One can always type in a keyword or two and find their preference.
